My best jupiter images so far with the 900nc.

The seeing was quite variable, so a lot of time was spent getting the perfect capture settings to suit the conditions. Dew everywhere  so I had to 'hose the corrector down' with the hair dryer between every AVI.

The scope was not at ambient, & didn't get there until 5.5 hrs into the run.

CGE1100XLT/900nc.

That looks very good, even in those conditions.

Thanks.

Heres a couple from the DBK.

No processing yet, just a little bit of gamma reduction in registax.

One with the thumping great hoover extension tube. The seeing didn't support it, but who cares. (DBK)

My best one resampled in registax, 5 multipoint 'old school' alignment.

Hi John,

Great looking shots!!!

With my cf tubed C11, I've also found myself struggling against the ambient temperature drops in the evening now that the temperature difference between day and night is much more than during the winter.

I'm going to do a very similar mod to my C11 as Rumples did to his C14 with the peltier coolers.  I think Paul has exactly the right idea there.
